Heads up campaign
7th August 2019
This week here at #Me we were super excited to hear of the collaboration between The Duke of Cambridge, Heads Together and the Football Association in their Heads Up campaign.
The aim of the campaign is to urge football fans to spend as much time talking about their mental health and their emotions, as they do the big match or their favourite player's stats.
The campaign also has some major backing by players such as Peter Crouch and Jermaine Jenas, and saw it's official launch on Sunday 4th August where a video message from The Duke of Cambridge was played to fans attending the Liverpool Vs Manchester City match.
The Duke of Cambridge is president of the FA, and already a huge mental health advocate, so what better avenue for him to explore?! Anything that gets the conversations rolling about mental health, gets our vote!
